Fin 2019, alors que la scène Oi! à Paris bat son plein, et n'a jamais , dans cette décennie déjà bien fournie, connu autant de groupes, l'épidémie de COVID frappe et met un coup de frein à toute cette nouvelle génération. D’où naît l'idée de faire cette compilation regroupant une bonne partie de ces groupes et qui donne une capture précise de l'état de la scène à cette période. Cette compilation se veut, comme d'autres projets, notre volonté de continuer à faire vivre la Oi! d'une manière ou d'une autre pendant ces temps de silence forcé. Plus qu'une simple compilation, il est bon de savoir que la majeure partie des groupes y figurant ont enregistré ensemble, lors d'un weekend dans les mythiques studios des Frigos à Paris 13eme, ce qui donne à cet album une unité dans le son et dans l'esprit. Fin septembre 2021, ce sont donc 13 groupes Oi! de Paris et sa banlieue qui s'unissent à notre appel derrière le label Une Vie Pour Rien pour vous présenter Paris On Oi!

The record was compiled by Little (UVPR) and Wattie (Lion’s Law, Bromure, etc...), here is their presentation of the record:
End of 2019, while the scene Oi! in Paris is in full swing, and has never, in this already well-stocked decade, experienced so many groups, the epidemics of COVID are hitting and putting a brake on this whole new generation. Hence the idea of making this compilation gathering a good part of these groups and which gives a precise capture of the state of the scene at this period. This compilation is, like other projects, our will to continue to make Oi! live in one way or another during these times of forced silence. More than a simple compilation, it is good to know that most of the bands featured there recorded together, during a weekend in the mythical studios of the Frigos in Paris 13th, which gives this album a unity in sound and spirit. At the end of September 2021, there are 13 Oi! bands of Paris and its suburbs that join our call behind the label Une Vie Pour Rien to present Paris On Oi!
